What is K-PaaS?
K-PaaS is an open cloud platform created through collaborations with various domestic companies with the support of the National Information society Agency (NIA), to strengthen domestic IT service’s competitiveness in the cloud platform market concentrated in overseas companies.

In addition, the cloud PaaS platform is in fierce competition for market dominance, centered on global companies around the world.

To secure competitiveness of domestic platform technology in the cloud market led by foreign PaaS, "K-PaaS" aims to develop and standardize open cloud technology, lead application and spread in the public sector, and support domestic companies to strengthen their technological competitiveness. open source cloud platform developed by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Information society Agency (NIA) through R&D support from 5 domestic software companies.

In April 2016, the first official version of K-PaaS, 1.0 Spaghetti, was released. February 2022, a new version K-PaaS 6.0 Anelli was released. K-PaaS 6.0 Anelli will be applied to e-governments cloud platform which will be the common basis for next-generations e-government services to provide a standard development and operation environment for cloud-based e-government services in the future.
